I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.
” PSALM 16:11, “You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
How do I discover God’s Will for my life?
~~~1. Have the Word of God in your spirit through daily reading and meditating on it.
~~~2. Is God in the circumstance?
~~~3. Through counsel based on Scripture, and then, you must confirm it with the Lord.
~~~4. Your conscience, which is a gift from God, a moral filter, but it has to be trained in the Word of God. It is a protection for our life.
~~~5. Common sense, which is a gift from God also. Use your mind and ask yourself questions.
~~~6. Compulsion, our strong desire to do something. Satan can also put compulsions on us. Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. When you DO NOT HAVE PEACE ABOUT something—DON’T DO IT!!! Colossians 3:15-16. God reveals His Will through CONTENTMENT! PEACE is God’s empire!!
