In Ephesians, the words ‘be filled’ means to be full of all that God is through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. This experience, the filling of the Holy Spirit, is not a once-and-for-all experience.
It is a continuing and restrengthening experience that leads us closer and closer to God. In all situations of life, we now incorporate our Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit to direct us, give us peace, wisdom, love, and obedience to His Call for service.
To be filled with the Holy Spirit means to be full of all that God is. It is a continuing and restrengthening experience.
