Dear Jesus, since I have given You control of my life, I realize I am not completely responsible for my becoming more like You, for doing the things I know I should and actually desire to do, which You have prescribed for a happy, peaceful, fulfilled life.
(So, I am giving over to You my weaknesses, my failed attempts to act, speak, feel, and sense the best I could and should give to others. I truly wholeheartedly desire to become the kind, loving, patient, sensitive person You have planned for me, but I fall short of this goal far too often.)
(So, I am PRAISING and THANKING YOU for my present condition. I am relinquishing my Will and my own efforts to become the person You desire me to be. I KNOW You love me, so I KNOW You will bring me to Your place of DIVINE GRACE as I TRUST You completely to do a good work in me.)
(My “JOB ” is only to let go, TRUST You, THANK You for allowing these shortcomings, PRAISE You for drawing me closer to You and making me the person the Father already sees because of pouring His blanket of Love over me. T.Y.J.)
