To activate the Power of the Holy Spirit in your life, you must get to a place where YOU WANT WHAT GOD WANTS MORE THAN WHAT YOU WANT. Let the Holy Spirit show you what God wants for you because that is the only way to find Peace and Joy in ALL circumstances. He will give you patience and a desire to do right. WHEN YOU LET THE HOLY SPIRIT LEAD YOU, HE WILL PUT IN YOUR HEART WHAT IS IN GOD’S HEART FOR YOU.
When you’re putting God FIRST, you don’t just start doing stuff. YOU SEEK HIS HEART’S DESIRE FOR YOU IN THE SITUATION AT HAND. Let His Love lead you; look at HIM. Grace wants to transform you to become more and more like Himself.
The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Grace, will do the work when YOU GIVE HIM PERMISSION. Jesus beckons us, “See Me, Delight in Me, Seek Me, Open your mind to Me.” The more you give of yourself to Him, the more you allow Him to give of Himself to you. Practice SURRENDER, TRUST, and PRAISE. The Holy Spirit is the conduit to encountering God.
Just as real as the coming of Jesus to earth, so was the coming of the Holy Spirit. Just as the prophets predicted the Messiah, so did they foretell the coming of the Holy Spirit hundreds of years before Christ.
“I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh.
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy.
Your old men shall dream dreams.
Your young men shall see visions.
And also, on My menservants and on My maidservants,
I will pour out My Spirit in those days” (Joel 2:28-29).
