He guides your heart to desire to do the Will of God. His main purpose is to help believers become more like Jesus. He is your conscience, that soft gentle voice that reminds you, “You haven’t prayed today,” or He may say, “You haven’t read My Word today,” or “You need to apologize to someone.” That is the Holy Spirit tugging at your soul.
You know Him already, but He yearns for you to rely on and listen to Him more closely and more often. In doing so, He will enable you to grow stronger in faith and trust by experiencing His Divine Powerful Guidance weaved throughout your day.
The Lord PREDICTED what would happen when you make a place for the Holy Spirit. He said, “HE WHO BELIEVES IN ME, out of His heart will flow rivers of living water. THIS HE SPOKE CONCERNING THE SPIRIT…” (John 7:38-39).
HAVE YOU MADE ROOM IN YOUR LIFE FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT? All He wants is a place in your heart. The FATHER is the SOURCE of every good and perfect gift. The GIVER of that source is CHRIST. The POWER of that source is the HOLY SPIRIT.
