The Holy Spirit is at work in you, if you have given your life to Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit gives power in preaching the Gospel and in working Miracles.
He dwells in all who belong to Christ empowering you to obey God and overcome sin, giving you a pattern of holiness to follow, guiding you in it and purifying your conscience to bear true witness. He changes your desires to wanting to do what pleases God. We cannot live good lives without the Holy Spirit. “…they follow their natural instincts because they do not have God’s Spirit in them” (Jude 1:19).
The Holy Spirit pours God’s Love into your heart along with joy, peace, and hope by His power. He is the One who transforms you into the image of Christ. His wisdom is coaching you to think in Heavenly patterns that mask your human responses. He is teaching you what is important, what is frivolous in the big picture of saving souls. He gives strength and desire to complete the tasks the Father has planned for you.
YOU CANNOT DISCIPLINE YOURSELF TO BE HOLY–to stop sinfull behavior. YOU ARE HOLY because of JESUS’ SACRIFICE. The HOLY SPIRIT is the ONE who will begin to CHANGE you, getting you READY to FACE the PERFECT HOLY SOVEREIGN GOD when HE CALLS YOU.
The Holy Spirit enables you to pray rightly and to call God your Father, thereby giving inward spiritual assurance that you are God’s Child. You are to set your mind on the things of the Spirit if you wish to be pleasing to God.
“Nothing is lasting except that which is Divine, so SEEK DIVINE GROWTH: wisdom, understanding, maturity, mercy, love, and single-mindedness for bringing others to Salvation. SEEK MY FACE daily in PRAYER, WORSHIPING, and LISTENING to My Loving Voice in your heart. You are never left to do anything alone. I go before you and with you to lead, partner, and protect those who SEEK MY WILL and take action to OBEY.”
