My Child, realize that you want kindness from others too. Remember how stunned you are that people love you even when, at times, you think about yourself differently? Think of this when you show kindness to others. They realize they may not deserve it, but are so overwhelmed that you still love them.
LOVE others IN SPITE OF THEIR ACTIONS or IN SPITE OF THEIR LACK OF ACTION. LOVE others OUT OF OBEDIENCE not because of what someone feels for you or you feel for them. LOVE UNCONDITIONALLY—NO STIPULATIONS, NO REQUIREMENTS, NO GRUDGES, NO EXPECTATIONS.
