By Richard Kleinmann:
“Now at Christmas, Lord Jesus, as always, Our Savior, our Good Shepherd and Prince of Peace, we know that without YOU there would be no Christmas. We would still be living in darkness. But in the silence, we hear Your strong yet gentle voice speaking softly words of God’s great love, mercy and grace.”
Truly, there is nothing better than Your Presence. The way You know and call us each by name makes every heart and soul rejoice and changes everything, so nothing is the same. Thank You, Lord, for coming that first Christmas, for being born to deliver us from Satan’s curse, for teaching us how to live by Faith, the Golden Rule, and Forgiveness. Finally, Jesus, thank You that nothing–not even death–can keep us from Your Salvation, nor from our wonderful Home with You and God and all the saints in Heaven. In the Spirit, with your saving-sacrificial love, let nothing keep us from your amazing grace, nor from following You to Heaven above. Be with us and guide us, Jesus, in everything we do. Fill our souls and spirits with Your mercy and Your grace. Instill in us what Christmas means, that You love us and have come to live with us to strengthen our hearts in faith and trust, and that we might never stop following You.
Instill in us what Christmas means, that You love us…
