Notes from Charles Stanley:
“Do you look for people who need help? Do you look with compassion, with a compassionate heart? It’s one thing to say it. It’s one thing to feel it, but it’s another thing to do something, inconvenience yourself for another, to share what you have worked for with another. What does the Lord want you to do with your life? You see a need, but can you feel the need enough to forget about your agenda, your time schedule? It’s easy not to feel someone else’s hurt. Sometimes people just want to know that someone understands, hears, and feels what they feel. When your heart can’t break, you’re in trouble. Our heart must be open and willing to give of ourselves as the Holy Spirit gives us awareness and opportunity to meet another’s need. ARE YOU A GOOD SAMARITAN? “
